This is my first stop-motion film, made in 2016 in Brighton, UK to graduate MA in Sequential Design and Illustration at the University of Brighton. I had difficulty telling stories in English, which is my second language. Because of that, I turned my book project into a short film without dialogue. Then, it became a new challenge for me: how to tell a story without words?
It was built with an inexpensive budget: whiteboard, pen, and my hand. I’m happy to graduate with Distinction for this project. For now, my English seems to improve better. Hopefully will be more confident to create stories in the English language in the future.
